This Cancellation & refund policy explains how refunds work for guest-initiated cancellations and related matters for bookings made through Vaadiya Rural Stays. Bookings are treated as confirmed after Vaadiya verifies your bank transfer (not immediately at checkout) as described in our Terms & Conditions.
Refund schedule (guest cancellation)
Refund percentages apply to the accommodation portion of what you paid, as shown on your booking confirmation, unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payment processing fees, service fees, or similar charges may be non-refundable even when the accommodation portion is refunded.

"Days" are counted from the scheduled check-in date and time in the property's local timezone, unless the booking confirmation specifies a different rule.
Modifications (date changes)
Date or stay changes are subject to:
- Availability and any host approval required by the Platform.
- Dynamic repricing if rates or taxes differ for the new dates.
- Additional service or facilitation fees where applicable.
Refund clock: Unless Vaadiya expressly confirms a different policy for a specific modification, the original cancellation window and refund rules from your initial booking continue to apply. This prevents misuse of modifications solely to reset cancellation advantages.
Host-initiated cancellations
If a host cancels a confirmed booking, guests will be entitled to remedies consistent with our then-current host cancellation rules (which may include rebooking assistance or refunds). Details may be provided at the time of cancellation in the app or by support.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned through the same payment channel or method where technically possible, within reasonable processing times imposed by banks and payment partners. Vaadiya does not control third-party processing timelines.
